Voting Options for November Election

Wyckoff

WAUKEGAN, Illinois – County Clerk Carla N. Wyckoff reminds voters if busy schedules or travel plans make it difficult to vote on Election Day, there are other voting options to make sure your ballot is cast.

Voting by Mail requires each registered voter to complete a ballot application form for every election. Voter’s electronic or paper application form must be received at the Clerk’s office by noon on Thursday, November 1. Voted ballots must be returned to the Clerk’s office with a postmark no later than midnight on Election Day.

Early Voting started Monday, October 22 and continues through Saturday, November 3 at all 16 early voting sites. Additionally, four of the sites will be open Sunday and Monday, November 4 and 5.  Hours and dates vary for the different voting sites. Early voters may use any conveniently located early voting site regardless of where they live in Lake County.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 6, and sites will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. On Election Day, voters must vote at their assigned neighborhood voting site.

For those Lake County residents who still need to register or update a current record, Grace Registration is available at any early and at voter’s assigned Election Day voting site. Applicants are required to meet all age, citizenship, and residency requirements; present valid identification; and vote at the time of registration.
