Voting
by mail is becoming increasingly popular. Have you ever wondered how to take
advantage of this stress-free way to vote?
Watch
this short video that guides registered voters through the easy steps of
completing the required ballot application and returning a marked ballot to the
Clerk’s office. https://youtu.be/2mP9kRXlMvY
Voting by mail lets you vote when it’s convenient for
your schedule, gives you more time to complete your ballot, and eliminates standing
in line at the voting site.
To vote in the November 6th election, you must submit a completed electronic or paper ballot application
to the Clerk’s office by noon on Thursday, November 1. Voted ballots must be
returned to the Clerk’s office bearing a postmark no later than midnight on
Election Day.
The
Clerk’s office is always diligent about protecting election integrity and security.
When you vote by mail, you can be assured that your ballot is private and
accurately counted. You can even log onto LakeVoterPower.info to track the Clerk's receipt of your ballot.
