WAUKEGAN, Illinois – County Clerk Carla N. Wyckoff announced that ballots for the November 6th Election will be available beginning Thursday, September 27 for those choosing to vote early at the Clerk’s office or by mail.
In-person early voting at the Clerk’s office is available weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Lake County Clerk’s Office, 18 N. County St., Waukegan starting Thursday, September 27 through Friday, October 19.
Beginning Monday, October 22, early voting is available at 16 early voting sites throughout the county. Lake County residents may use any early voting site regardless of where they live. Twelve of the early voting sites are open until Saturday, November 3. The other four sites offer extended evening and weekend hours and are open through Monday, November 5.
Registered voters wishing to vote by mail must submit a completed electronic or paper application to the Clerk’s office by noon on Thursday, November 1. Voted ballots must be returned to the Clerk’s office bearing a postmark no later than midnight on Election Day.
