Voting Options for March 20 Primary Election 

The March 20 Primary Election is fast approaching. Busy schedules or travel plans can sometimes make it difficult to vote on Election Day. Be aware of the several ways to vote in the upcoming election. 

Vote by Mail

Residents can vote from the comfort of their own home! Registered voters can request a vote by mail application from the County Clerk's Office until noon on March 15. Voted ballots must be postmarked by midnight on Election Day.

Early Voting

Residents can vote and register at any early voting site regardless of where they live in Lake County. Early voting will be available until March 19Grace voter registration is available at all sites. Hours and dates vary at the 15 different locations. Find early voting sites.

Voting on Election Day

Those choosing to vote on Election Day (March 20) must go to their assigned polling location. Voters can find their polling location by using this Polling Place Locator. Grace voter registration also will be available in all precinct voting sites on Election Day and at the County Clerk’s Office in Waukegan. 


Preview Ballot

Voters can preview their personalized ballot before heading to the polls by logging onto LakeVoterPower.info to confirm their registration. Then, voters can print their ballot preview to take into the voting booth as a reference.
