An application to receive a ballot by mail is required for each election before a ballot can be sent to the voter. The County Clerk’s website offers online and downloadable forms. Your application must be submitted to the Clerk’s office by March 15, and your voted ballot must be postmarked by midnight on Election Day.

Vote Early
Vote and register at any early voting site regardless of where you live in Lake County. Early voting will be available until March 19. Hours and dates vary at the 15 different locations. Find your closest early voting site.

Election Day
Those choosing to vote on Election Day must go to their precinct’s polling location. To find your site, use our Polling Place Locator. Voter registration also will be available in all precinct polling locations on Election Day and at the County Clerk’s Office in Waukegan.
