Grace Voter Registration

WAUKEGAN, Illinois – Despite fast approaching deadlines, Lake County residents still have several opportunities to register for the first time or update an existing record before the March 20th Primary Election.

Online registration is available until March 4 through the Illinois State Board of Elections website (https://ova.elections.il.gov). An Illinois driver’s license or state identification card is required.

Fifteen early voting sites will offer Grace Registration beginning March 5. Eleven early voting sites are open until Saturday, March 17 on weekdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The four other early voting sites offer extended weekday evening, Saturday, and Sunday hours through Monday, March 19. Just for early voting, you can use any voting site regardless of where you live.

Grace voter registration is also available at the Clerk’s office weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to
5 p.m. through March 2, 2018.

Visit LakeCountyClerk.info and click on the “March 2018 Primary” icon to see the early voting site’s addresses, dates, and times.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, residents of their precinct for 30 days before Election Day, 18 years old on or before the general election, provide two forms of valid identification (one must show current residential address), and vote at the same time as registration.
