Early Voting Begins for February Primary Election

WAUKEGAN, Illinois - Lake County Clerk Carla N. Wyckoff reminds voters that early voting for the February 28 Primary Election begins Monday, February 13. Voters may use either early voting site, the Lake County Courthouse or Jane Addams Center in Bowen Park, regardless of where they live.

Visit LakeCountyClerk.info and click on the “February 28 Primary” icon to see the early voting site addresses, weekday and weekend hours, and specific dates.

Both early voting sites will also offer Grace Voter Registration allowing citizens, with valid identification, to update their voter registration record or register for the first time.

The February 28 Consolidated Primary is only for Waukegan Township and the City of Waukegan residents to nominate township highway commissioner, city mayor, and city clerk candidates. No other offices, contested Republican candidates, or nonpartisan public questions were certified for the primary election.
