Grace Voter Registration

WAUKEGAN, Illinois – Despite fast approaching deadlines, Waukegan Township and City of Waukegan residents still have several opportunities to register for the first time or update an existing record before the February 28th Primary Election.

Online registration for Waukegan city and township residents is available until February 12 through the Illinois State Board of Elections website (https://ova.elections.il.gov).

The two early voting sites, Lake County Courthouse/Administrative Complex and Jane Addams Center (Bowen Park), will be open and offer Grace Registration from February 13 to 27. You can use any either voting site regardless of where you live.  Visit LakeCountyClerk.info and click on the “February 28 Primary” icon to see the early voting site addresses, dates, and times.

Grace voter registration is also available at the Clerk’s Office weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to
5 p.m. until February 28th.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, residents of their precinct for 30 days before Election Day, 18 years old on or before the general election, provide two forms of valid identification, and vote at the time of registration.

City of Waukegan and Waukegan Township residents will nominate their city mayor, city clerk, and township highway commissioner candidates. Only voters in these two districts are eligible to vote in this primary.
