WAUKEGAN, Illinois – Severe winter weather could prevent you from going to your voting site on Election Day. County Clerk Carla N. Wyckoff is encouraging Waukegan Township and City of Waukegan registered voters, including students away at school and traveling snowbirds to vote by mail. This option allows any registered voter to receive and mark a ballot from the comfort of his or her own home.
It's simple to vote by mail. Complete the short required application form and return it to the Clerk’s office before noon on Thursday, February 23.

You only have to walk as far as your mailbox for your ballot and vote from the comfort of your own couch. Mail your voted ballot back to the Clerk’s office with a postmark no later than midnight on Election Day. You can track the Clerk’s receipt of your ballot at LakeVoterPower.info using the “Track My Ballot” feature.
The February 28 Consolidated Primary is only for residents in Waukegan Township and the City of Waukegan to nominate township highway commissioner, city mayor, and city clerk candidates.
