Hello Neighbors
In 2014, I was elected to serve as your Lake County 10th District Board Member and Lake County Forest Preserves District Commissioner. I thank you for the continued opportunity to represent our district residents and Lake County.
As part of my service to Lake County, I also was appointed and will serve the following County Board committees: Finance (vice chair), Law & Judicial, Planning Building & Zoning, and Inclusion & Diversity as well as the following Forest Preserves committees: Operations and Ethics (vice chair).
As we approach a new year, I look forward to listening to your suggestions and your concerns and working with my fellow board members to continue working to make Lake County a wonderful place to live and work.
I want to wish you
and those close to you a happy and safe holiday season. I hope that you
all have a healthy and joyous time with family, friends and neighbors.

read may visit www.cyberdriveillinois.com to apply for a newly designed plate at no charge.

While Santa has been busy tracking everyone’s wants, students and teachers at Fremont
School District 79 have been looking out for their needs.
Teachers
learned of 12 Fremont students who might have gone without gifts over the
holiday. They rallied their efforts and donated over 200 gifts for them. Third-graders got into the spirit of gift giving for the Fremont Township’s Adopt a
Family Program and purchased about 240 gifts of toys, coats, shoes and more.
Earlier in the month, grades three/four multiage classrooms went on a shopping spree to purchase gifts for families. Second-graders used their
allowance to purchase materials to make 45 blankets for a local PADS (Providing
Advocacy, Dignity & Shelter) site. Fremont Middle School students raised a
little over 1,600 pounds of food and supplies for the Fremont Township.
