Have a happy and safe Halloween! I wanted to give you a quick update on Grand Avenue and Sand Lake Road and also a correction on the Lake Villa Trick or Treat hours.
Together we can make sure that Lake County remains a wonderful place to call home.
Sincerely, Tom Weber

From Township Supervisor, Dan Venturi,
After over a year of construction, I am excited to announce that State Route 132 (Grand Ave) and Fairfield Road are open again. The construction is not over (the signal lights still need to be installed) but at lest it is open.
This very good new for most, of us unless you were one of the families that enjoyed the Grand Avenue Cul-de-sac for the past year. I can see the advantage of going from 1,000's of cars traveling past my house each day to none!
Sorry to them, good for us.
Daniel Venturi

Be safe this Halloween
With Halloween approaching, remember
to be safe. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office will have extra deputies
patrolling while children are trick-or-treating. Sheriff’s detectives also
will provide additional monitoring of registered child sexual offenders to
ensure they are in compliance with the law and not participating in
trick-or-treating. View some safety tips to
make this a safe and fun Halloween.
