WAUKEGAN, Illinois - Lake County Clerk Carla N. Wyckoff will hold a lottery to determine the order of political parties listed on November’s ballot. The public is invited to observe the lottery on Thursday, April 28, at 11:00 a.m. in the lobby of the Lake County Courthouse and Administrative Complex, 18 North County Street, Waukegan, Illinois.
New political party or independent candidates wishing to appear on November’s ballot have until June 27, 2016 to circulate and file petition papers.
A candidate list will be posted at LakeCountyClerk.info as new candidate information becomes available.
