Lynette Hampton Selected as the Next Superintendent of the Hulse Detention Center at the Depke Juvenile Justice Complex

Chief Judge John T. Phillips is pleased to announce the selection of Lynette Hampton as the next Superintendent of the Hulse Detention Center at the Depke Juvenile Justice Complex.  Ms. Hampton will assume her duties effective Friday, September 25, 2015.

Ms. Hampton currently serves as the Deputy Superintendent at the facility.  She has held that position since 1998.  Lynette has worked with the 19th Judicial Circuit for twenty-eight years and has held the positions of Juvenile Counselor, Senior Juvenile Counselor, Principal Juvenile Counselor and Principal Probation Office.

Ms. Hampton is a graduate of Illinois State University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology.  She holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago – Jane Addams School of Social Work.  She is currently working on her Doctorate in Business at North Central University. 

Ms. Hampton’s professional associations include the Juvenile Officer’s Association, the Illinois Probation Court Services Association, the Exchange Club of North Chicago and Delta Sigma Theta, Inc.

Preceding Ms. Hampton in service as Superintendent is Ms. Sue Korpai who is to be congratulated on her pending retirement and thanked for her many years of dedicated service to the 19th Judicial Circuit and the citizens of Lake County, Illinois.
