Join Us April 26 for the "Community Clean-up" Event!

Community CleanUp

Volunteers across Evanston are invited to participate in the City's "Community Clean-up" on Sat., April 26 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Whether you're working with a group or individually, volunteers can sign up to work at any of the ten designated clean-up sites on VolunteerEvanston.org

The City will provide volunteers with green refuse bags at each of the clean-up sites. Additionally, free refuse bags will also be available to participants who wish to clean up around their own property or neighborhood.  

Bags will be available for pick up beginning at 9 a.m. on Mon., April 21 at the information desk of the Morton Civic Center; the Levy Senior CenterFleetwood-Jourdain Community Center; all five Evanston Fire Stations; Ace Hardware, 1008 Davis St.; and Harold's Hardware, 2912 Central St. 

To commemorate the day's volunteers, the City will provide a free food voucher to exchange at the City’s Earth Day and Arbor Day Celebration at the Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center, 1655 Foster St., from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. later that day.
