Thank you, Public Works crews!
At approximately 12:25 p.m. on Monday, Evanston was hit by a burst of storms and winds which caused citywide damage. City crews including forestry, greenways, recycling and environmental service, and traffic were rerouted and deployed for an immediate response.
With multiple trees down and power and traffic light outages, the City worked quickly with ComEd to restore power and will be continuing with their citywide cleanup efforts through the remainder of the week. Thank you, Public Works staff, for all of your efforts this week!
For any tree related cleanup requests, please call/text 847-448-4311.
That’s it for today's e-news. Thanks for reading!
