Last fall, nearly 200 Evanstonians helped the Library embark on a journey to advance its equity, diversity and inclusion efforts, meaningfully engage communities, and build community relationships through a series of listening engagements. Join us Thursday, Jan. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m., for our Community Shareback to learn more about what we heard and what we're doing to advance this important work.
The event is virtual, and participants will receive a $25 gift card and be entered to win an iPad or a collection of books curated by our librarians. Childcare, laptops and WiFi hot spots, interpretation and ADA accommodations are available. Register by Jan. 18. Request these services at www.epl.org/shareback by Tuesday, Jan. 18.

For almost 150 years, the Library has provided educational, culturally-rich resources for all residents, helped children prepare for school through the joys of reading and learning, celebrated Evanston’s diversity, and helped residents find information they seek. The Library is more than a building of books; it is a place to meet, connect, learn and explore. To learn more, visit www.epl.org.
