Our #LibraryLove is felt community-wide….

Evanston Public Library truly does more with less. We are significantly less funded by tax dollars than other local libraries, such as Skokie and Wilmette, and for a second year in a row, we didn't ask for an increase in our tax levy. Yet, EPL aims to be at the heart of our diverse community for all who need our services. 

So how do we do it? The answer is: individual contributions and strategic partnerships. Thanks to our partners, our work multiplies through the entire community - providing essential programs and services when and where they are needed most. 

Thanks our donors, we can begin to close the gap between a nearly $1 million dollar deficit between our tax-based revenue and the budget required to fund the wonderful Library collections and services. Your gift is critical!
