International Mud Day is June 29! Time to celebrate kids and mud!
Start with our Mud-Luscious Booklist for great fiction and nonfiction books about mud and soil. There's even a "cookbook" of mud pies!
Move onto a soil experiment: a Winogradsky Column STEM Challenge! This is a totally cool way to watch microbes from the soil do their magic all summer long!
Mud play is not only good for kids' mental health, but mud can actually be good for your child's physical health, too. Check out this Healthline summary.
