As we look back on 2020, we pause to recognize that Evanston Public Library made it through the year because of support from you. You are our patrons, our volunteers, our donors, and our advocates - and you are true friends of the Library.

Libraries are a pillar of democracy, and our Library exists for everyone because of your dedication to its place in our community.

Thanks to you, in 2020 we expanded access to our Library, with the opening of our new branch in the Robert Crown Center, provided free Wi-Fi hotspots and laptops eliminated all overdue fines to help improve access for all members of the community, and figured out new ways to remain accessible through ever-changing health guidelines.

All of this happened, plus so much more, because you showed your Library Love.

You joined our Reimagine Campaign, showing that your support remained strong as we reimagine how we serve. Giving Tuesday 2020 was our most successful year yet! And you declared your commitment to equity by exceeding our $20,000 goal during the Equity Promise Match Challenge.

But we know that, together, our work is not done. As we look forward to the promise of this new year, we look forward to the possibility of what may be.  If you would like to support the Evanston Public Library financially in 2021, why not help us start the new year strong and make your gift today?

Evanston Public Library is grateful for our patrons, staff, volunteers, Board of Trustees, and community. It is only through our collective work that the Library will remain a place to gather, to learn, and to receive assistance. Together we can create a library that serves us all. Together, we are the Library.
