The League of Women Voters of Evanston (LWVE) and the Evanston Public Library will hold a series of virtual candidate forums ahead of the February 23, 2020 Consolidated Primary Election. The schedule of upcoming forums is as follows.
The Primary candidate forums will be held on Zoom. Registration is required to attend. Due to limited attendee capacity on Zoom, the forums will also be streamed on the LWVE Facebook page. Following the events, the forums will be available for on-demand viewing on the LWVE YouTube channel.

Art Call: We're looking for Evanston-based emerging artists, musicians, and creatives, especially individuals from historically marginalized identities, for our 2021 exhibition schedule. Exhibition space includes the Main Library, the Robert Crown Library Branch, and digital space at epl.org. Work inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic, social isolation, the threat to Black lives, police brutality, and other time-sensitive work is encouraged, as are artists who have never exhibited previously. The Cardboard Carnival is coming to town beginning Saturday, January 23 through March with a new challenge for Evanston youth in grades 4-8: designing a cardboard marble run from scratch. The project is designed to encourage youth to develop skills in coding, prototyping, production, and presentation.
