Boys Can Be!
Boys Can Be is a positive masculinity multi-session program for boy-identifying 4th and 5th graders. Through discussions, role playing, ice breakers, STEAM activities, and book talk presentations, boys will grow in their understanding of and comfort with healthy communication, emotional awareness, and respect for self and others. This program is made possible through a grant from Rotary Club of Evanston.
Registration is open to Evanston residents and District 65 students. Participants are welcome to register for any or all monthly sessions in the program series.
Session 1 topic: Deconstructing the "Man Box." We'll explore unhealthy expectations aimed at boys and men and which qualities make a "good man." Register now. Saturday, February 22, 3-5 pm, Community Meeting Room, Main Library
