Celebrate Pride Month with Drag Queen Storytime
It's Pride Month and Evanston Public Library is celebrating with Drag Queen Storytime at the Chicago Ave./Main St. Branch (CAMS), 900 Chicago Avenue, starring noted Chicago drag performer Coco Sho’Nell.
Drag Queen Storytime brings kids and people of all ages together to embrace a world where people can be who they want to be through performance, stories, and fun! Originating in San Francisco, Drag Queen Storytimes are now a regular occurrence in libraries around the country. This is the second time the EPL has offered this event. No registration is required.
All are welcome to this free event, held at the Chicago Avenue/Main Street branch of Evanston Public Library, on Saturday, June 22, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
About the Evanston Public Library
For more than 140 years, the Library has provided educational, culturally-rich
resources for all residents, helped children prepare for school through
the joys of reading and learning, celebrated Evanston’s diversity, and
helped residents find information they seek. The Library is more than a
building of books; it is a place to meet, connect, learn and explore. To learn more, visit www.epl.org.
