EVANSTON POLICE DEPARTMENT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR CITIZEN POLICE ACADEMY SPRING SESSION

Have you ever wanted to learn more about how the police department works?  Perhaps you are interested in a career in law enforcement? Or maybe you would just like to be more civically engaged. 

If any of these situations apply to you, you’re in luck! Applications are currently being accepted for the Evanston Police Department Citizen Police Academy Spring Session. This interactive program is facilitated by Evanston officers and covers a wide range of topics relating to the Evanston Police Department. The program gives participants a closer look at the Evanston Police Department and policing as it relates to Evanston. The program lasts 13 weeks, and meets Thursday evenings March 1 to March 17, 2018..

The program is completely free and open to those that live and/or work in Evanston The application along with more details can be found on the City of Evanston website.
