New York Times Review...The play is a socially significant and VERY entertaining two-woman show that manages to be simultaneously self-deprecating and proud. "Single Black Female" has a few serious moments and slides into them gracefully. And there are serious issues underneath much of the humor.

Variety Magazine Review...Though she’s zeroing in on a very specific experience, Thompson’s scenarios at times cross ethnic and sexual lines into more universal territory. With "Single Black Female" the final effect is to leave the audience both amused and slightly unsettled by the experience of something new.

Remember, YOU are our best advertising! Share this newsletter with a friend!

See you this weekend!
