County Transportation Committee Chairman Don Puchalski joined Bensenville Village President Frank DeSimone for a meeting on the DuPage County Route 83 Corridor Plan. Board member Ashley Selmon attended the meeting in Elmhurst.
The purpose of this project is to create a community-driven master plan that addresses issues and opportunities as they relate to land use and transportation along Route 83 (Busse Road) in DuPage County. The plan will focus on the future of unincorporated areas, but do so in a way that reflects the needs and goals of property owners and adjacent communities.
To do so successfully requires partnering with five communities that the Route 83 Corridor runs through in DuPage County — Wood Dale, Bensenville, Addison, Villa Park and Elmhurst, Illinois.
