Des Plaines River Road Lane Closures - 2600- 3000 River Road

Location – Des Plaines River Road from Touhy Avenue to Devon Avenue in the City of Des Plaines, IL.

Nicor Gas will be performing an emergency repair to their gas main on Des Plaines River Road from 2600 to 3000 Des Plaines River Road in the City of Des Plaines, IL, Cook County.  Des Plaines River Road will have one lane closed to traffic in each direction.  The closure will begin on Friday, December 17, 2021 and last approximately 1 week. 

Motorists can expect single lane closures as required and should allow extra time for trips through areas where workers are present. At all times, drivers are urged to pay close attention for flaggers and signs in work zones, obey the posted speed limits and be on the alert for workers and equipment.
