Date of Origin: 08/21/2022 5:00 pm PT

Location: Tammany Creek Road south of Lewiston

Estimated Size: 50 acres

Containment: 60%

Personnel: 30

Current situation

Firefighters are currently battling a wildland fire just south of Lewiston on Tammany Creek Road. Quick response enabled the crews to achieve a majority containment of 60%. Currently there are three engines and a hand crew setting up who will continue operations into the morning and tomorrow.

There are no evacuations or closures at this time, however residents are asked to stay clear of the area until further notice.
