Facility Reservations
Park Shelter Reservations Park shelter houses may be reserved starting the first business day of the new year. They are available any day of the week during the hours of 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Everyone ages 55 and older is invited to attend a free exercise program that will include stretching and toning. Registration is NOT required. This is a continuous program. For more information contact us at 515.981.9206.
OPALS luncheon (Ages 55 & Older) Everyone age 55 and older are welcome! Come and socialize with the Parks and Recreation staff and enjoy a potluck style lunch. The main dish and water will be provided. Bring a side dish or dessert to share. Each event will have a different speaker. Speakers will be announced prior to the event. Must pre-register. Flashlight Age Group Easter Egg Hunt When the sun goes down, the fun begins. The Easter Egg hunt will start at 8:00 pm. Please meet at the Norwalk McAninch Sports Complex parking lot no earlier than 7:45 pm. You are required to bring your own flashlight (size limited to no larger than 2 "D" cell batteries.) An adult must accompany all children. There will be a limit of 20 eggs per child. They will be split up into age groups and Parks and Recreation staff will announce the release of each group.
Registration times: February 26 - March 24, 2024 Program days/times: Saturday, March 30, 2024 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm Cost: $6.00 per resident child / $6.90 per non-resident child Location: McAninch Sports Complex Limited to 150 participants.
**Each child within a family wanting to participate is required to register.
Mommy & Me Dance The Park and Recreation Department will host Mothers and their child(ren) for an evening filled with dancing, fun, light snacks, dessert and photo opportunities. If mom is not available, an aunt, sister, grandmother or mother figure is always welcome. All ages are welcome!

Family Bingo Night Stop by Luana Savings Bank on Sunday evenings and enjoy a good time with Bingo and tasty treats. Bring munchies or snacks to share with all and we will provide the beverage. All ages are invited to participate. Bingo callers will be the Norwalk Lions Club Members.
