Norwalk Parks and Recreation's office is now open to the public with the hours below.
Our temporary office hours will be Monday - Thursday from 12:00 pm - 4:30 pm. At this time, we ask that if you are able please conduct any business using online forms, registrations, and payments.

What can I expect when I visit Parks and Recreation in the near future:
All park playground equipment, shelters and skate park are open. Attendees must follow our Park Facility Reopening Policy. Restrooms are CLOSED for the season!
Park open spaces and trails CONTINUE to be open including Elizabeth Holland Park. CDC guidelines must be followed when using these public spaces.
McAninch Sports Complex is CLOSED for the season.
Norwalk Parks and Recreation will continue to take registrations for all open and upcoming programs on the registration website https://norwalkparks.activityreg.com.

We are asking everyone to follow theCDC guidelines and Governor Kim Reynolds most recent emergency proclamation regarding staying at home, maintaining a physical distance of 6 feet, if you are sick or have symptoms stay home, wash your hands frequently, cough or sneeze into a tissue or the inside of your elbow and wear cloth face coverings.

New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose

We are continually monitoring the situation with the help of Warren County Health Services, the Iowa Department of Public Health, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and local emergency services.

Reservations are for the April - October 2021 season.

Norwalk Aquatic Center
Registration for Swim Lessons begins at 8:00 am on Monday, May 3, 2021. Online Registration
**To check the level your child should attend. Go to “Account information” in your account. Choose the member. Go to “Registered activities”. In the list of registered activities find the most recent swim lesson and you will see "pass, fail, or redo" to the right of the lesson name. You do not need to click on it to see the the status.

Everyone ages 55 and older is invited to attend a free exercise program that will include stretching and toning. Registration is NOT required. This is a continuous program.
