What can I expect when I visit Parks and Recreation in the near future:
All park playground equipment, shelters and skate park are open. Attendees must follow our Park Facility Reopening Policy. Restrooms are CLOSED for the season!
Park open spaces and trails CONTINUE to be open including Elizabeth Holland Park. CDC guidelines must be followed when using these public spaces.
McAninch Sports Complex is CLOSED for the season.
Norwalk Parks and Recreation will continue to take registrations for all open and upcoming programs.
Current programs are postponed until 8:00 am on December 12, 2020. Updated schedules have been sent to all participants of all programs.
We are asking everyone to follow theCDC guidelines and Governor Kim Reynolds most recent emergency proclamation regarding staying at home, maintaining a physical distance of 6 feet, if you are sick or have symptoms stay home, wash your hands frequently, cough or sneeze into a tissue or the inside of your elbow and wear cloth face coverings.

Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose

We are continually monitoring the situation with the help of Warren County Health Services, the Iowa Department of Public Health, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and local emergency services.

Everyone ages 55 and older is invited to attend a free exercise program that will include stretching and toning. Registration is NOT required. This is a continuous program.
Park Shelter House Reservations
Shelter reservations are CLOSED for the season. Reservations will open January 1, 2021 for the April - October 2021 season.
