DALLAS COUNTY WARMING CENTERS
Dallas County, IA - In anticipation for life-threatening cold temperatures that are expected to make their way through Central Iowa over the next few days, the following facilities are designated as warming centers.
AHeinz57 – 4002 Ash Street De Soto / Monday-Friday 11AM-7PM; Saturday-Sunday 11AM-4PM (welcomes citizens and their pets)
Adel Library – 330 S 10th Street Adel / Monday-Thursday 9AM-6PM; Friday 9AM-2PM; Saturday 9AM-1PM; Sunday Closed.
Dallas Center Library – 1308 Walnut Street Dallas Center / Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM; Tuesday-Thursday 9AM- 7PM; Saturday 9AM- 12PM
De Soto Library – 405 Walnut Street De Soto / Monday-Wednesday 10AM- 6PM; Thursday 10AM- 8PM; Friday 1PM- 6PM; Saturday 10AM-1PM
Minburn Library – 618 5th Street Minburn / Monday 10AM- 6PM; Wednesday-Friday 10AM – 4PM; Saturday 10AM- 12PM; Closed Tuesday and Sunday
Perry Library – 1101 Willis Avenue Perry / Monday-Thursday 10AM-8PM; Friday 10AM-6PM; Saturday 10AM-5PM; Sunday Closed

Waukee Public Safety Building –1300 SE L.A. Grant Parkway Waukee / Monday- Friday 8AM-4PM; Saturday and Sunday Closed
West Des Moines Library – 4000 Mills Civic Pkwy West Des Moines / Monday-Thursday 9AM-9PM; Friday 9AM-6PM; Saturday 9AM-5PM; Sunday 2PM-5PM
Woodward Library – 118 South Main Street Woodward / Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9AM-5PM; Tuesday, Thursday 9AM-7PM; Saturday 9AM-12PM; Sunday Closed
Warming centers are facilities where persons can temporarily go during periods of extreme temperatures to get out of dangerous weather conditions. Few and limited services are provided beyond what is normally available in that building. The following facilities are designated as warming centers during their normal operational hours. It is advised to check hours by calling ahead or checking the facility social media page.
