HHS Service Delivery Alignment Assessment Survey
The Department of Health and Human Services is seeking feedback from consumers about what is most important to them. This survey is available in English, Spanish, Arabic, Swahili, and French. This survey takes less than five minutes to fill out.
Some HHS programs that Dallas County residents may utilize include, but aren't limited to, local public health, environmental health, I-Smile, WIC, maternal child health, community action agencies, area agencies on aging, mental health regions, and more.

HHS Community Based Services Feedback Requested
The Iowa HHS Community Based Services Redesign team wants to hear from you! If you would like to provide feedback, fill out their form at HHS.Iowa.gov and share topics that matter to you, what and how you prefer to give your feedback and the best way for them to contact you about next steps. The in-person meetings will address screening for Medicaid home and community based services needs, Medicaid HCBS waitlist policies and procedures, uniform Medicaid HCBS waiver assessment tools, Medicaid HCBS waiver services, Medicaid case management, and service navigation.
Dallas County Coat Giveaway
The Adel First Christian Church has partnered with Adel Rotary, St. Johns Knights of Columbus, Adel Women's Club, and Faith Lutheran Church to be able to provide about 300 new coats to keep people warm in Dallas County. This event will be October 14th from 9:00-11:00am at Adel First Christian Church.

Tracking Portal-New Summer 2023 Data Available!
The Iowa Public Health Tracking Portal serves as a centralized source for public ehalth data. Additional years of data are now available for the following topics: asthma, carbon monoxide poisoning, COPD, injury, heart attack, heat related illness, oral health, drug overdose, prescription monitoring program data, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis.

Free Reproductive Health Kits for Iowans
Family Planning Council of Iowa is excited to announce the launch of free Reproductive Health Kits for Iowans. Free kits are available at 10+ locations throughout the state or requested via mail. By providing these kits free of charge, FPCI hopes to eliminate financial barriers and promote access to a full range of reproductive health tools. Each kit contains, 1 educational booklet, 2 doses of the morning after pill, 2 packets of lube, and 2 condoms. All kits are discreetly packaged. Learn more at FPCouncil.org

Mental Health America's Youth Policy Accelerator
Mental Health America is accepting applications for the new Youth Policy Accelerator program. MHA's YPA partners with young people to advance youth-driven mental health policy nationally. YPA member learn from and build relationships with leaders in the field, develop their personal strengths in policy advocacy, co-create surveys and original research, and develop recommendations and a campaign to advance youth mental health.
