SYBAC Completes Cybersecurity Training

Congratulations to our Statewide Youth Broadband Advisory Council (SYBAC) students that have completed their online cybersecurity training from Fortinet. In April 2020, Fortinet addressed a need to further build security expertise by making all its self-paced courses from the Network Security Expert (NSE) Training Institute available for free.  Throughout the school year, our SYBAC students worked through the NSE 1 certificate.

We think it is great that the SYBAC students below are making cybersecurity a priority!

  • Justin Wells, Fremont-Mills High School
  • Chase McAndrews, Clarinda High School
  • Sam Doud, Earlham High School
  • Henry Shires, Valley High School, West Des Moines
