CACFP "Basics Plus" Training


WHAT: Small group live regional training sessions designed to help you to navigate through CACFP requirements and meal pattern changes; provide hands-on activities; address common scenarios and areas of confusion; and answer questions
PRESENTER: Jaclyn Graves, CACFP Consultant for Northwest Iowa (participants from other areas are welcome to attend)
GOALS: Improve communication, understanding of CACFP requirements and compliance to prepare for a State agency review
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: New and experienced staff including cooks, infant room staff, staff responsible for supervising meals, and directors

Staff may leave if CACFP Basics topics do not apply to their job duties.

CACFP Basics - 1 ½ hours (Approximate)
- Food Production Records/Menu Planning

LOCATIONS:

MEALS: Working lunch or supper; bring your own food and beverages
CREDIT: Up to 3 hour certificate for those who attend the entire training
REGISTRATION: Email Jaclyn.Graves@iowa.gov and include the site and the name or names of staff that will be attending from your site. Don't wait to sign up!
CANCELLATION INFORMATION: If 5 or fewer people sign up for a training site by December 5, it will be canceled. If weather interferes, Jaci will email the registered attendees and reschedule the site training.
