Culinary Skills for Healthy Meals in CACFP
Join us for a culinary skills training led by Chef Brenda Windmuller. The training will include hands-on food prep and training on the updated CACFP meal pattern. Participants will demonstrate preparing easy and appealing meals and snacks featuring fruits and vegetables, master knife skills, and explore recipes to meet the updated meal pattern.

Healthy Choices Count! Summit
The summit will be held at Des Moines University on Tuesday, October 30th from 9am - 3pm. Join experts working across the state in schools, child care, out of school programs, health care and communities gather to share ideas to support healthy choices where Iowans live, work, learn, and play!
