Stops planned in Missouri Valley, Onawa, Le Mars, Dubuque, Maquoketa, Donahue and Webster City during the week
DES MOINES – Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig today announced that he will
be making stops in Harrison, Monona, Plymouth, Dubuque, Jackson, Scott and
Hamilton counties on July 25-28.

Naig
was appointed by Governor Kim Reynolds to succeed Bill Northey as Iowa
Secretary of Agriculture on Monday, March 5, 2018. Prior to that, he had served
as Iowa Deputy Secretary of Agriculture for Northey since September 2013.
As
Secretary, he is committed to leading efforts to protect consumers, expanding
economic opportunities for Iowans and advocating in Iowa and around the globe
on behalf of the hard-working men and women who keep us fed and fueled.
Mike
Naig grew up on a family farm in the northwest corner of the state near
Cylinder, Iowa and he continues to be involved in the operation today.
