Boil Advisory for SIRWA and Creston Waterworks

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources issued a press release advising customers of the Southern Iowa Rural Water Association (SIRWA) and Creston Water Works to boil water as a result of issues with the filtration system at the Creston Water Treatment Plant.  You may read the full press release here.

The boil-water advisory will have implications for dental offices located in these areas.  Infection control standards must continue to be met during these situations.  Please review the recommendations issued by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) issued in the December 19, 2003 MMWR.  You may review this information here.
