  • The State of Senior Hunger in America in 2016.  This new report published by the National Foundation to End Senior Hunger (NFESH) and Feeding America analyzes data on food insecurity among older adults ages 60 and over. This data, pulled from the most recent year available, 2016, illustrates that while the food-insecurity rate for this population has recently declined, it is still significantly higher than rates from the Great Recession a decade ago:  http://nasuad.org/hcbs/article/state-senior-hunger-america-2016
