Join the Iowa Core Advocate Network (ELA/Literacy) 
Sign up to participate in monthly webinars beginning in September that center on learning about the ELA/Literacy Shifts in greater detail and translating the Shifts into practice. The Network is built on instructional advocacy, which is grounded in a firm understanding of the Shifts, educators owning, supporting, and promoting the resources, tools, and practices that create learning environments in which students develop college- and career- readiness. What I Use in My Classroom Guides on Achieve the Core
Find teacher-recommended, teacher-reviewed free online resources to support students’ learning and teachers’ work. The What I Use in My Classroom website allows viewers to add comments and ratings, and houses interactive links to the recommended resource. Teachers in our Core Advocates network have some great ideas for classroom Tips & Tricks - watch the webinar recording to hear how they are managing effective feedback on homework, communicating with parents, and flexible grouping of students.

Open Up Resources K-5 ELA Curriculum Preview
Visit the newly launched sample materials review site which provides advance access to sample lessons, assessments, decodable readers, digital and print materials, and more. This is a great way to get a sneak peek at the program ahead of its publication, when it will be made freely available as a full-course OER curriculum.

District to District (D2D) - Facilitation Opportunity
D2D, a Student Achievement Partners’ Partner Organization, is launching a series of collaboratives to provide virtual, ongoing support to teachers in grades K-11 who are in the process of implementing one of the EngageNY curricula (Eureka, Core Knowledge, Expeditionary Learning, and O’Dell), and are seeking excellent teachers with experience using these curricula in their classroom to lead learning for their peers through these collaboratives.
