CTE Month information!
Hello wonderful CTE/FCS educators! Before I get out this month's newsletter to you, I wanted you to be aware that February is CTE month and there are some neat ways to show your support through Social Media and Thunderclap. See below:

The easy thing about the Thunderclap is that once you or anyone else has signed up to share the message, you’re done! Your account will automatically post the message at the time we have selected, February 1st at noon Eastern. Through this, we hope to get the message out about the value of CTE to those outside the CTE community.

FCCLA Thunderclap
Help us share a message about FCCLA on social media with the FCCLA Thunderclap! Just sign up now and we will send the message that will go out on your social media platform, at the same time and on the same day for everyone...Friday, February 17 at 4:30 PM EST! Encourage everyone you know to SIGN UP and participate, not just those involved in FCCLA. For more information and to sign up, click here.
IN ADDITION - Advance CTE would like to hear about what is happening in your state during CTE Month in February! The theme for this year is "Celebrate Today, Own Tomorrow." Please send along any activities or initiatives you have planned - such as events, video contests, awards programs, school visits, etc. They would also love to collect any photos or materials you are planning to use to promote CTE month. There will also be a weekly blog series where they would like to share what is happening in your community.
This is a great opportunity for you to highlight what you are doing in your state, so please share any resources and activities with Katie Fitzgerald at kfitzgerald@careertech.org.
