Marietta Police Department Hosts Charity Golf Tournament for Special Olympics
The Marietta Police Department is hosting a charity golf tournament to benefit the Special Olympics of Georgia and the 26,000 Georgia athletes/participants. The Special Olympics offers 25 different sports for the athletes to experience. Athletes gain confidence and life skills by participating and competing in their chosen sport. We invite you to join us for a day of golf to help raise money and awareness for this cause. Read more |

On Wednesday, February 3rd, at 7pm, the Marietta Museum of History hosts its first Evening with History of 2016. Marietta Police Offers RAD Women's Self-Defense Class
The Marietta Police Department will offer a 12-hour Rape Aggression Defense class in February for women of all fitness levels and ages to successfully learn options to escape attacks. Participants will learn techniques designed to be quick and effective in delivering pain to vulnerable locations on the attacker's body. Read more |
