Meet the Monster Fish!

Georgia Anglers (past and present),

The Wildlife Resources Division has teamed up with the Fernbank Museum in Atlanta to offer current Georgia fishing license holders a discount to see the National Geographic Monster Fish: In Search of the Last River Giants exhibit.

This special exhibit, which runs through Aug. 18th, allows visitors to dive beneath the surface of the world's rivers and explore some of the most amazing fish species with life-size sculptures, custom illustrations, videos and hands-on activities.

The exhibit will also spotlight the importance of local freshwater fish, such as Lake Sturgeon found in Northwest Georgia rivers and the conservation efforts to save the Robust Redhorse.

Current license holders can follow the steps below to receive their discount:

  • Present to the box office at the Fernbank Museum, 767 Clifton Rd., Atlanta, GA
  • Receive discount on up to 6 tickets per license
