Shooting and Archery Range Closures Effective Today
As much of Georgia prepares for Hurricane Irma, it becomes necessary to close some specific areas, including potentially affected shooting and archery ranges. Range closures include:
- Richmond Hill Archery Range (effective immediately)
- Richmond Hill Shooting Range (effective immediately)
- Dixon Memorial Shooting Range (effective beginning 7 p.m. Fri.Sept.8)
- Chickasawhatchee Archery Range (effective beginning 7 p.m. Fri.Sept.8)
- Mike Commander Shooting Range (effective beginning 7 p.m. Fri.Sept.8)
These areas will remain closed, at a minimum, through Monday. The weather and areas will then be re-evaluated to determine if further closure time is needed.
