Pinecrest Canals The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) is conducting a second sweep of canals in Pinecrest this week. By doing so, it is taking action against hydrilla, an invasive plant that threatens the health and flow of our waterways. Left unchecked, it could seriously disrupt our canal system. SFWMD is actively removing this material and restoring the natural beauty of our canals. We will continue to keep you informed.
For specific questions, please reach out to SFWMD.
