 The City of Treasure Island would like to invite you to an informational session to learn about upcoming code revisions to allow for the elevation of seawalls. The session will be held in the city’s Commission Chambers at 10451 Gulf Blvd, on April 5 at 11 a.m.
During the session, City staff and consultants will provide an overview of the proposed changes to the code and answer any questions you may have. This is a great opportunity for property owners, contractors, and residents to learn about how the revisions will impact the process of elevating seawalls in Treasure Island.

 The April 11 Local Planning Agency Board Meeting has been cancelled. The next LPA Board Meeting will be on Thursday, April 18 at 2 p.m. in Commission Chambers at City Hall, 10451 Gulf Blvd. The meeting will immediately follow the Planning and Zoning Board Meeting.
This meeting will discuss the next Terrain Modification Program elements of Elevate T.I.: Discuss Cumulative Substantial Improvements & Revisions to Land Development Regulations, Chapters 76 (stormwater), 54 and 75 (utilities).

 History in the making! The city of Treasure Island officially dedicated its new City Hall at a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony yesterday, April 2, 2024. A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who showed up to show their support!
If you missed it, you can tour the new City Hall at the city's upcoming Treasure the Island Day - Community Appreciation Day on April 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 Show your support for Autism Awareness with a Treasure Island Fire Rescue "Autism Awareness" shirt! These shirts are now available for purchase for $30, with proceeds benefitingThe Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD).
CARD provides support and assistance to individuals with autism and related disabilities, with the goal of helping them reach their full potential.
To purchase a shirt, simply send an email to mnelson@mytreasureisland.org, call 727-547-4590 ext. 260 or stop by the fire department located at 180 108th Avenue. TIFR can NOT mail shirts. They will need to be picked up at the station.

 Treasure Island is offering dog lovers the opportunity to purchase a commemorative dog park paver to help expand the entranceway at the John Morroni Memorial Dog Park at Rosselli Park. The pavers are $150 each and measure 8" x 8" in size, with a vibrant Admiral Red color. Each paver can be personalized with up to 6 lines of text, with 20 characters per line including spacing and punctuation. This is a great way for dog lovers to leave a lasting mark in the community while supporting a beloved canine-centric space.

 Attention library enthusiasts! The Gulf Beaches Library currently has a vacancy on their Resident Board and is looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join their team. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in the community and help shape the future of the Gulf Beaches Library. If you're interested in serving on the board, please submit a letter of interest outlining your qualifications and why you're interested in serving to cityclerk@mytreasureisland.org.  Are you ready to rock! The city of Treasure Island is looking for vendors for the city's annual Rock Around the Clock event on May 11. This event is an exciting celebration of music, community, and local businesses.
Rock Around the Clock will rock downtown Treasure Island as 107th Avenue turns into a stage and dance floor while bringing together plaza businesses and residents for an unforgettable evening featuring two outstanding bands: Kid Royale Band, and The Jerry Outlaw Group.
Vendor participation will greatly enhance the Rock Around the Clock experience for attendees and that's why you're invited to join in helping make this event a success.
