The time has finally come to open the city of Treasure Island’s new and enhanced City Hall. The city is excited to announce a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 2 at 6 p.m. at City Hall’s new location, 10451 Gulf Blvd. Current and former city officials will be in attendance to celebrate this joyous occasion.
The newly renovated, 28,347-square-foot building cost $11 million which included the cost to acquire the property and renovations to the existing building. City Hall will house the City Commission Chambers, City Hall departments, Public Works Administration, and rentable recreation spaces for the community. The facility will serve as a central hub of the city, providing public space that is accessible, functional, and a source of pride for residents.
Tours of the new City Hall will be offered during the city’s Community Appreciation Day on April 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
