Celebrating dedication! The Treasure Island City Commission recognized Ground Maintenance Crew Chief Troy Palmer's 30 years of service to the city during the City Commission Meeting on Tuesday night, Feb. 6. Troy has been a dedicated and hard-working employee who plays a major role in keeping our paradise so beautiful.
Troy began his career with Treasure Island on Jan. 31, 1994, as a Service Worker II. He split time between working with Public Works and the newly acquired Treasure Bay for a year, where he helped with reconstructing the irrigation system, installing bunkers, and building a putting green over the old pool.
Within a year, Troy was promoted to Crew Chief and continued to provide guidance and leadership over many projects during his 8 years at Treasure Bay before transferring back to Public Works as a Grounds Maintenance Crew Chief.
Please help us celebrate Troy’s dedication and commitment to our beautiful city for 30 years.

One is located at the intersection of 3rd St E and Capri Blvd and the second location is at the intersection of 6th St E and Capri Blvd. Work is expected to take 4 weeks. Thank you for your patience.
