 The city of Treasure Island and the American Legion Post 158 will host a Veterans Day Parade on Sunday, Nov. 12. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at the Treasure Bay Recreation Facility located at 10315 Paradise Boulevard and end at the Treasure Island Community Center located at Gulf Boulevard and 106th Avenue.
PARADE ROUTE and TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE:
The parade will leave Treasure Bay and head north on Paradise Boulevard to 107th Avenue/TI Causeway. The parade will then head west on 107th Avenue/TI Causeway to 1st Street East, where the parade will turn south to Treasure Island Community Center. Westbound traffic on 107th Avenue will be delayed during the parade as well as the intersection at 105th Avenue and 1st Street East.

Sanding Ovations Presents “It’s About Time” kicks off next week! This annual event continues to grow in popularity every year and will take over Treasure Island Beach Nov. 16-19 with an encore weekend Nov. 25-26. Sanding Ovations is a free event featuring incredible sand sculptures, live music featuring national and local artists, beach vendors, fireworks and much more.

 For the first time, this year’s event will feature a V.I.P. tent that will include an open bar, backstage access, and front-row seating.

 You never know when you'll need to save a life. Treasure Island Fire Rescue now offers a basic CPR/Heartsaver/AED course and a Basic Life Support (BLS) course.
The next Heartsaver CPR AED course will be on Nov. 30 from 5-8 p.m. This course will train participants to give CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.
