 Portions of Sunset Beach are closed.
- Caddy’s and Ka’Tiki are open.
- All public parking lots are closed.
- Beach access will not be permitted during the restoration for safety reasons.
The city is still asking for a few property owners to contact the building department to discuss and sign temporary construction easements. They can call 727-547-4575 x230 or email zoning@mytreasureisland.org.
Commemorative benches from 110th Avenue South have been removed in preparation for the emergency dune restoration. The benches will be stored at Treasure Bay.
If you have scheduled events planned at the Sunset Beach Pavilion or a beach wedding on Sunset Beach, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 727-547-4575 x221 or email Recreation@mytreasureIsland.org.
This project will not affect the annual Sanding Ovations event held in November on the main beach behind Gulf Front Park, 10400 Gulf Boulevard. For additional please visit the event website at www.sandingovationsmasterscup.com.

 Free daily collection of storm debris (non-construction household items and vegetation) will end on Friday, Sept. 22. Regular yard waste Wednesdays will resume next week (Wed. Sept. 27).

 Treasure Island Fire Rescue’s Safe Sitter Class, Sponsored by Safe Sitter, is sure to get your teen on the right track to becoming a babysitter. Participants will learn how to care for a choking infant or child, basic first-aid, personal safety for the babysitter, injury prevention, how to care for children, preventing problem behavior, behavior management, ethics, and babysitting as a business.
