The city of Treasure Island wants your feedback about which improvements should be made to enhance mobility and connectivity for all modes of transportation throughout the city. The city will be hosting two open houses, with the first one taking place this Saturday, March 25. Those attending will have a chance to discuss and review potential plans for:
- A city-wide connectivity plan, including waterway connection points.
- Downtown traffic improvements, including enhanced aesthetics.
- Gulf Boulevard safety improvements

Visitors to Treasure Island Beach will now have access to a beach toy box. Scott Glenn of Parks and Recreation hand-built the beach toy box and designed the palm trees. The idea for the beach toy box came from TrashCaulin.
The purpose of the box is to "take a toy, leave a toy."
- Gives a place for families to place toys
- Provides toys for families who do not have any
- Promotes an eco-friendly community and aesthetic

Congratulations to Commissioners Deb Toth and Saleene Partridge. Both were re-elected to represent their districts in the March 14 municipal election. Commissioner Toth won against challenger Ashley Wagner and Commissioner Partridge ran unopposed. Both were sworn in at last night's (March 21) City Commission meeting.
